1. Payment providers
Payments are processed through licensed partner aggregators, in particular FedaPay and FeexPay (FeexPay being licensed as a Payment Institution by the BCEAO). WinetPay is not a payment institution and does not hold funds in place of these providers; it orchestrates the transactions and the accounting for the service.
2. Payment methods
Depending on the country and the enabled corridor: Mobile Money (in particular MTN MoMo, Moov Money, Celtiis Cash, Wave, Orange Money) and other methods supported by the providers. The availability of a method depends on its activation per corridor (country × aggregator × method).
3. Currency
All transactions are denominated in CFA francs (XOF). No currency conversion is performed.
4. How a payment proceeds
The customer selects an offer and a payment method, then confirms the transaction (for example, through a Mobile Money / USSD payment request). Once the payment is validated, access is delivered automatically.
5. Reliability and duplicate prevention
- Double click / double submission: neutralized by an idempotency key.
- Duplicate notification from the provider: neutralized by the uniqueness of payment events.
- Incident between payment and delivery: operations are automatically retried; paid access is always delivered.
6. Payout to the operator
The proceeds of sales, net of the WinetPay commission, are credited to the operator's wallet (see GTC). Withdrawals are governed by the GTC and the corridor matrix.
7. Fees
The WinetPay commission is set by the operator's plan (GTC). Fees may be applied by the Mobile Money operators, independently of WinetPay.
8. Payment disputes
Any dispute (failed payment, undue charge) is handled in accordance with the Refund Policy and through support. Contact: [to be completed].
